Sterling College Trails
A network of hiking trails loops through the Sterling College farm and adjacent forest down into the Black River valley, welcoming you to explore and observe the natural world. Users should know that navigation is challenging. The College, in coordination with Craftsbury Trails, has plans to improve the trail in the years to come. The trail is primitive with sporadic trail maintenance, includes steep and slippery terrain and is not currently suitable for biking. Dogs must be leashed and are not allowed in barns, stalls or pastures where livestock are present. If you go through a gate make sure to close it behind you.
The network can be accessed via the top of Sterling Farm Road.
