Sterling College Trails
A new 2.8 mile hiking, mountain biking and snow shoe trail dubbed the Sterling Trail was completed in the fall of 2024 with the help of a state Recreational Trails grant. Visit the Current Projects page for current updates.
The trail is a “lollipop loop” and designed with mountain bikes in mind but open to other users. Dogs must be leashed.
The Sterling Trail officially begins and ends at Dustan Field, but can also be accessed at the start of the Sterling Farm Rd. where it heads south (left), west (right) behind Sterling’s “Cedar Cottage” and into the woods to a loop above the Black River.
